More info: At the town hall, health care policy experts Dr. Eric Novack will explain what passage by Congress of the current health care “reform” package will mean for you as an insurance consumer, as a patient, and as a taxpayer. Over the coming months and years, as really bad things begin happening in the American health care system, citizen activists will need to know exactly WHY those things are happening—otherwise, future Congresses will have great difficulty fixing the messes that Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and CD5 Congressman Harry Mitchell are imposing on the country.

Dr. Novack is not only one of the nation’s foremost experts on health care policy: he is also the architect of the Arizona Health Care Freedom Act, which will be on the November 2 ballot.

Dr. Novack will explain the importance of the Act, not just to patients and health insurance consumers in Arizona, but to the future of health care freedom in America as a whole.

Act NOW to Stop Obamacare

The sight in Washington, D.C. today is amazing. Tens of thousands of people have descended onto the grounds of the U.S. Capitol to protest the government takeover of health care by President Obama, Speaker Pelosi and the Washington Democrats.

As I write you this email, thousands of Americans are chanting outside the Capitol, and I can hear them clearly from my office right across the street. I’ve also spoken with many people who have literally driven here on a whim, because they feel so strongly about defeating this takeover of our health care. President Obama has called a special meeting with Democrats right now. He has come to the Capitol instead of summoning them to the White House – I believe, because he was afraid no one would show. Democrats are running scared because they know that the American people do not want this passed!

The energy is building against this bill, and I do believe there’s a chance we can actually make enough noise and educate enough people to STOP it! I wish you could be here with me here today, but there are still things you can do from home that can be effective in stopping this legislation. Here are three things you can do right now:

1. Make news! Make your voice heard by going to your local TV or radio station or newspaper and tell the producers and reporters that you don’t want President Obama and Speaker Pelosi to take your health care!
2. Call up your family and friends and get them to call their member of Congress and demand that Speaker Pelosi require a roll call vote! Demand that every House member should stand and announce his or her vote out loud in front of C-SPAN and for the world to see!
3. Organize a protest/candlelight vigil against Obamacare at your local TVstation tonight!

Don’t stop now – we’ve come too far. We’re hearing that Democrat members that were “on the fence” or that had declared they’d vote for the bill have now decided to vote against it or have flipped. These are great signs. Please, do something today to speak out against this massive federalization of health care in America!

Now that Congressman Harry Mitchell has said he will vote YES on ObamaCare, we have to let him know that we will not stop protesting him, as long as he remains in office.

We must educate our fellow citizens about what Mitchell has done.  But many of your neighbors in CD5 do not read the same emails you do.  They do not watch Fox News.  They do not listen to conservative talk radio.  The best way to reach them–other than going door-to-door–is to make a highly visible (but peaceful) ruckus in the streets.

Water for Health Care?

I had the Glenn Beck TV program on while I was busy in the kitchen this afternoon, when this segment caught my attention and I had to stop and take notes.  If this is true and it certainly sounds like it…this is downright scary!!!

First some background:  You may or may not know about the situation in the San Joaquin Valley (SJV).  The SJV is a huge flat valley in central California that produces (or used to) a large amount of our produce.  The water has basically been shut off to the farmers.   There have been billions of water diverted from the farms because of a very small bait fish–the delta smelt.   Now who is responsible for this…why it is the Department of the Interior.

There has been a very long struggle to get the water turned back on and get these farmers back in production.  This area has between 20-40% unemployment.  The water is still not back on.

Here are my notes from the segment.  Glenn interviewed Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) from district 21, which is in the SJV.   The thinking is that Rep. Jim Costa (D-CA) district 20 and Rep Dennis Cardoza (D-CA) district 18 were bought off with water to their districts for their votes on health care.

Now let that just sink in for a moment.

If you vote for the federal takeover of the health care industry (because that is where it is going) and we will turn on the water.

But wait there is more…

Another shocking thing that Nunes stated:

We only get 25% of our water for 100% of health care.

Nunes then went on to compare the current administration to Saddam Hussein who starved his people of water and another delightful person Robert Mugabe who is currently starving his people.

Let me give you some background on Mugabe… Robert Mugabe is President of Zimbabwe, who compares himself to Hilter and basically stole the farmland in his country which was once the “bread basket” of southern Africa and major agricultural exporter.  Now…Zimbabwe depends on food programs and support from outside to feed its people to avoid starvation.  okay back to the program…

Now compare this to a year with 129% of rainfall and the government deems only 25% can be given to the farmers.  Unbelievable!!

Beck asked Nunes about the situation and if he was really saying what he was saying.  Yes!  was the answer.  Don’t you think the timing is suspect, it is announced just before the vote and not when it was originally scheduled to be announced.

Nunes went on to say that Pelosi and team were elected long before he was born and they want to create a new America.  If you look at the SJV, we are what happens when you create a socialist utopia they want.

What are the ramifications?  Nunes went on to say, that these characters go back to the 1960’s radical times started in San Francisco, they created a machine that gradually put environmental regulations in place.   When you look back at the 1980’s, the logging industry was turned off.  Then they started turning off the water slowly over the years until they just shut it off this last year.

Folks this is coming to the rest of America. This used to be a valley of hard working farmers and farm workers.  That is now between 20% and 40% unemployment and they can’t even feed their families.

They think from here in Washington they can control the masses.

Health Care Update

The term that I keep hearing on the news and radio is “demon pass.”  Is that what you hear?  Every time this term is used, that is exactly what I hear.

Yeah, I know, they are really saying “deem and pass”.

The  irony is too much and sickening:

• This is just evil and then to hear it called “demon pass.”  I have to agree on the term as I hear it.
• Slaughter rule:  put forth by House Rules Committee Chair Rep. Slaughter (D-N.Y.)   Now isn’t that rule named appropriately.  This is the same person that “topped” in the Blair House summit about a lady that had to wear her dead sister’s dentures…not kidding.
• The vote seems to be scheduled for Sunday, as if that is not bad enough, but during Lent…for a bill that contains  government paid abortion.
• Read on Hotair on how a similar tactic by the Republicans was opposed in 2005. I bet you could guess who before you go take a peek.

Now here is Senator Tom Coburn warning members of the House of Representatives that Republican senators will watch carefully for any deals the White House or Democratic leaders make with members in exchange for their votes.

Now I like that they are looking to protect the American people from corruption.  But why is this news and why is it not always done?

Updated:  Forgot to add about the TEA Party is asking for us to surge to Washington or your Congressman’s local offices.  Put the pressure on.

Things to notice:

• Obama does not worry about procedural rules — just do it
• Doesn’t answer why deals and bribes are necessary if bill is so good
• Courage to do the deem and pass, sequence the votes
• What specific deals/bribes are in/out
  • Louisiana Purchase now helps Hawaii natural catastrophe, which went through an earthquake???? really??? is he talking about Haiti???
• Can you govern after a 51 vote in the Senate…doesn’t answer question…put forth his talking points
• By the time the vote takes place, we will finally know what is in the bill
• Bret Baier calls him Sir, while Obama calls him Bret during the entire session.  Did you also notice this during the Blair conference?
• We aren’t transforming 1/6 of the economy in one fell swoop…that tells me more change is coming
• Doesn’t know about Connecticut deal, another bribe
• What about the $500B being double-counted–oh no, you can’t say that, but you can say–take savings and put on reform.
• Doctors fix – I think this is the ratchet down of medicare reimbursements that have been delayed…I think

I attended this event. Very loud with all the honking, but also more flip-offs than previous events that I have attended. Also was quite interesting to see the group in favor of the bill–all holding identical professionally printed signs–all leave at the very same time. Like maybe they were paid or something or maybe a bus to catch.
