Honk for Healthcare: Friday Jan 29

The Arizona chapter of Americans for Prosperity is teaming up with the Scottsdale Tea Party Patriots to do two Honking for Health Care Freedom events this week outside the home office of Congressman Harry Mitchell.

Congressman Mitchell made a huge mistake back in November, when he voted in favor of Nancy Pelosi’s national health care takeover bill.  That bill passed in the House by only three votes.  That means that Mitchell cast one of the three crucial votes.

The good news is that the Pelosi version of the bill is probably dead.  But despite the Scott Brown victory in Massachusetts, the leftists in Congress may still try to ram the corrupt Senate version of the bill through the House

Bear in mind that we’re not just concerned about the corruption.  The liberal approach to health care reform is entirely backwards.  We need real competition in health care, not a Washington-created cartel of big insurance companies.  We need to educate Mitchell about the disaster he will impose on American health care consumers if he votes to put our health care in the hands of bureaucrats in Washington, DC.

Please join us at our two Honking for Health Care Freedom events in Scottsdale this week.

This Friday, January 29, during lunch hour, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, also at the corner of Scottsdale and Camelback Roads.

Tea Party activists will have big signs asking motorists to HONK to STOP Washington DC’s corrupt takeover of our health care.

If you cannot join us for these Tea Parties, we ask you to please drive by the intersection of Camelback and Scottsdale, and give us a big honk for health care freedom.  At the very least, please give a call to Mitchell’s Scottsdale office.  The number is 480-946-2411.
