Wow, this was in the Arizona Republic on Monday:
Constitutional rights are never lost by decree. They are never waived by some imperial master. They are lost by neglect. By acquiescence. By the mute acceptance of an official’s dismissive refusal to provide what a citizen demands. They are lost by ignorance of our rights.
And they are lost incrementally.
This was an editorial concerning the Congress Elementary School District that has sued the parents to stop them from asking questions.
